Hello Mike,

Thank you for pointing to this link. As I was exploring the website I came nice features across. I think we could use the forum to discuss different issues. Think about OS issues, Programming, Scripting etc. The possability of having your own profile is awesome.

Kind regards,

Valentin

I agree completley,
it gives everyone space! You dont have to get an email for each message, and you can share much more information if you want to.

Plus we can create open social plug ins and then hook them in.

I am thinking about
1. a wikimedia open social plug in to hook in a wiki.
2. a wikipedia open social plug in to hook in the wikipedia
3. plugins to bring in the code.google.com etc

we can use this as a platform to bring the entire conference together.

I agree too about getting some plugins in here. It will be much easier to find things. All in one place! I do have a suggestion thou. Can you update the forum and add seperate headlines, like: Free discussions, Help, IRC etc..? An plugin of IRC would also be great to have around. It'll probably get more people to the channel #sfk09 at irc.freenode.org.

Kind regards,

Valentin
